Erum wanted to give back

30.08.2016

Erum Shehzad is from Pakistan. She volunteered in Kids Action for Kids’ Ubon Ratchathani surgery mission in Thailand. As waiting times sometimes feel like never ending, long hours, she was designated to help with interacting and playing with the kids, and with preparing the parents for their kids’ surgeries.

Erum says:
“My main motivation to join KAFK was to help the local people of Thailand, as a way of giving back to the country that we were lucky enough to call our home for four years. From my personal experience, I can say KAFK is a very successful and ambitious charity organization. The KAFK community is incredibly friendly and welcoming. During my trip, I especially enjoyed being able to interact with the children and their families. It was an inspirational experience.”
