Ingebjørg Bjerva turned 100 — and asked for donations to Kids Action for Kids instead of birthday presents.

Ingebjørg had seen a TV feature about children born with cleft lip and palate, and she wanted to help. She asked her two sons to find out where the money would do the most good. They looked up the organisations collecting for this in Norway and checked them against Innsamlingskontrollen — and that is how they found us. For her 100th birthday on 20 July, she asked her family and friends to give to KAFK. She even made sure our Vipps number and account details were printed alongside her interview in the local paper, Telen.
