Juan: “Smiling is a universal symbol of happiness”

01.09.2016

Juan Sintes is a multinational supporter with roots in Argentina, Colombia and the United States. Currently he studies at Davidson College, North Carolina, USA. While living in Thailand and as a member of the KAFK ISB High School Club, he supported Kids Action for Kids in various events such as creative workshops, Christmas Bazaar and both the 2nd and 3rd KAFK Charity Triathlons.

“I joined KAFK because of their noble cause and determined mission to help children born with cleft lips and cleft palates. Smiling is a universal symbol of happiness and I believe everyone has something to smile about, and thus should be able to smile. I think Kids Action for Kids has a strong community of people who share this belief, and we are all very determined to continue our efforts for the cause. Kids Action for Kids has organized and carried out a plethora of activities ranging from making and selling Christmas ornaments to hosting extreme Triathlons. One of the most rewarding experiences was the mission in Korat, Thailand, where we observed a surgery taking place and also met the kids and their families. It was a reminder to me of what our mission was and that we were accomplishing it. Overall, I was and am a proud member of Kids Action for Kids and continue to support the cause!”
